Some News @ CCPlace HQ
In continuing the support of the Mac platform and community, CCPlace is planning some ideas for the near future. There are some plans to be implemented in the end of 2000 to the beginning of 2001. These include a newly designed web site to offer more interaction between humans and machines. With the now heavy conversion to FireWire, many products should be available for review. There are some items that we have our eyes on. The USB 2.0 interface will be considered if there is a sufficient supply of such products. Also at the HQ, a new LAN is being considered. This would help the behind the scenes work, not the website. The website already runs on DS-3 connections with an OC-3 backbone. Other minor improvements would naturally accompany these updates. Look forward to these changes in the near future, as well as what happens to Apple.
